Come Sail Away

I've had this little Romwe sailor dress for a while, and have always struggled with ways to make it look cute, and not costume-y. I'd try it on every once in a while, only to take it off and put something else on. But lately I've been embracing my own style inclinations. I love sailor things, I love cat dresses, and I love cutesy shoes. So why not wear these things that I love so much?

So often in Winter it is easier for me to throw on a giant sweater, jeans, and a pair of boots. It's comfortable, classic, and warm. Dresses can be tricky and not always work right. But I own a lot of dresses. Like a lot. Like I just reorganized my closet and was stunned that dresses make up half my wardrobe. But I don't always wear them. I'm trying to make myself wear all the things in my closet that I love dearly that I often shy away from. It's time to be bold.
